The ministry of Manpower has tabled a Bill in parliament to amend the Employment Act-Singapore's main labour law - to make it compulsary for employers to issue itemised payslips. Under the proposed changes employers may be fined up to $1000 for each initial breach and up to $2000 for subsequent breaches.
